Green Economy Agenda - Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton’s Green Economy Agenda is a series of proposals to empower smart individual and institutional action related to energy independence and climate change as a strategy to strengthen Wisconsin’s competitive position in a global economy

Creative Economy Agenda - In this creative economy, the emphasis shifts to the attraction, retention, and expansion of human talent and creativity. And educated and trained workers, bright innovators and entrepreneurs all look to live in communities with strong cultural centers, places where diverse populations are welcome.  Lt. Governor Lawton works to position Wisconsin well in multiple ways

Guide for Penny Pinchers - Barbara's Guide for Penny Pinchers is designed to be an easy place to go for Wisconsin families looking to stretch their hard-earned dollars on everything from gas to groceries to prescription drugs

Energy Star Schools Challenge - This initiative is aimed at helping school districts reduce their carbon footprint and redirect money not spent on energy to the classroom.  Lt. Governor Lawton challenged 100 Wisconsin school districts to commit to improve their energy efficiency by 10 percent

Wisconsin Connects  - Wisconsin Connects is a partnership between the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and ePals to link Wisconsin students with their counterparts in classrooms in over 200 countries and territories.

Wisconsin Women = Prosperity - WW=P is an economic development initiative launched by Lt. Governor Lawton in response to a Women’s Policy Research Institute’s 2002 report that gave Wisconsin an overall grade of C- for the status of women.

Helping Connect Small Businesses to Credit - Lt.Governor Lawton and the Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the availability of new tools to ease the credit crunch by helping Wisconsin small businesses access capital.

Mental Health - Learn more about Lt. Governor Lawton's efforts to enact mental health parity in Wisconsin

Building the Information Technology Workforce - Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton and Information Technology Association of Wisconsin, launched a new career and job “matching” service in an effort to promote Wisconsin job opportunities to young people and build the state’s information technology (IT) workforce to meet a growing demand for talent.

Go Green! Switch to Renewable Power -  This new online tool is designed to connect consumers to all they need to switch to renewable energy for their home or business.

Task Force for Arts and Creativity in Education - Investment in the artistic and creative energy of Wisconsin students throughout their education was the over-arching recommendation of the Wisconsin Task Force on Arts and Creativity in Education final report and action plan.

Art in the Office - Lt. Governor Lawton transformed the wall space of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor into a rotating special gallery exhibition space for Wisconsin artists.
